Have you ever felt like you've lost yourself while trying to take care of everyone else? Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, perfectionism, or the lasting effects of trauma? Perhaps you're emotionally exhausted from constantly putting others' needs before your own or find yourself repeating unhealthy relationship patterns. If so, you're not alone.
I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, people-pleasing, low self-worth, and major life transitions. I also enjoy working with highly sensitive individuals and clients from multicultural and immigrant backgrounds who may be navigating identity, belonging, or cultural adjustment.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, trauma-focused therapy, attachment-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy. When working with children and adolescents, I also incorporate art-based interventions to help them express emotions, process difficult experiences, and build resilience in developmentally appropriate ways.
My journey to becoming a therapist began while helping establish a counseling center in India, where I witnessed the life-changing impact of counseling. My love for psychology and philosophy, along with my own experiences overcoming trauma, inspired me to support others facing similar challenges. Living and working in Taiwan, the United States, India, Uganda, and several Southeast Asian countries has given me a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and strengthened my commitment to providing culturally responsive and inclusive care.
I believe healing happens through a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help you process painful experiences, build healthy boundaries, strengthen self-compassion, and reconnect with your authentic self. Together, we will work toward healing, growth, and creating a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
