I am a mental health professional who believes that people are more than the diagnoses they carry. My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a trauma-informed perspective. I believe that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors often make sense when viewed within the context of our life experiences. Because of this, I focus on helping individuals better understand the patterns in their lives while developing practical skills that support emotional stability, resilience, and personal growth. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable discussing both the difficult and meaningful aspects of their experiences.
Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of human service and mental health settings, including foster care, correctional environments, and clinical mental health programs. These experiences have given me a deeper understanding of how trauma, adversity, and systemic challenges can impact individuals across the lifespan. Working in these settings has strengthened my commitment to traumainformed care and has helped shape a practical, compassionate approach to supporting individuals facing complex life circumstances.
