I work primarily with women of all ages as well as teenage girls aged 15 – 19. Many of my clients come from highly controlled early environments and/or are currently moving through a life change or transition of some sort and are seeking a safe space to unpack their thoughts and internal process. Many are also beginning to understand the impact that their background and family of origin had, and continues to have, on their present identity and sense of self.

My approach is gentle, compassionate, and honest, drawing from IFS, DBT, Narrative, and Attachment theories as we process what you bring to session. I draw on a client-centered approach, which simply means that I do my best to tailor sessions according to what you need and not strictly according to a specific therapeutic theory. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all outfit, and I love the challenge inherent in that fact to proceed creatively!

As we work together, I hope that we will be able to slowly move towards the answers you seek and move towards new, healthier ways of existing in this world.
