Hi, I'm Sarah!
I believe healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about rediscovering the parts of yourself that have been there all along.
Some of the things we criticize most about ourselves were once brilliant survival strategies. Together, we'll get curious about the patterns that helped you make it this far, decide which ones still serve you, and build new ones that fit the life you're creating now. My hope is to help you discover that you've had more strength, wisdom, and courage within you than you may have realized all along.
I enjoy working with children, teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, addiction, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, parenting challenges, and major life transitions. Rather than focusing on fixing you, I'm interested in helping you understand yourself with curiosity, compassion, and honesty.
My work integrates evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, logotherapy, mindfulness, and expressive arts. I also enjoy incorporating experiential and meaning-centered approaches—using metaphor, storytelling, movement, music, nature, games, values exploration, art, and symbolic reflective exercises to help people see themselves and their experiences from new perspectives. Every session is tailored to the person in front of me because healing doesn't look the same for everyone.
My goal isn't for you to need therapy forever. It's to help you build practical skills, deeper self-trust, and a life that feels authentically yours—because I believe you've had what you needed within you all along.
